What is a Digital Publication?
A digital publication is an interactive version of your exisiting paper publication. It looks like a real book with sound effects and a realistic page turning effect. You can read a digital publication, zoom it without blurring the type, print all or part of it, email it to a friend, add it to your browser favorites, download it, burn it to CD or DVD, post it to a blog or social network, view a single page or double page spread or view it full screen. You can also connect directly to any website or email address on the digital publication's pages with one click of the mouse.
How do I get started with Digital Publishing?
Just contact us and we will work with you one-on-one to help you seamlessly convert your paper publications and integrate your digital publications into your exisiting website design. We can help you can create an interactive library of current titles or set up an archive of back issues.

How do I convert a print publication to a digital publication?
All you need to create a digital publication is a PDF version of your print publication. You simply pay a one time fee to convert the print publication to a digital publication using our secure WebStore and then upload the PDF files to us using our secure file upload utility. We will work with your print designer if needed to make sure your PDF files can be successfully converted.
What can I do with a digital publication?
In addition to embedding the digital publications in your exisiting website, you can also embed them in other websites or blogs at no additional charge. You can read a digital publication, zoom it without blurring the type, print all or part of it, email it to a friend, add it to your browser favorites, download it, burn it to CD or DVD, post it to a blog or social network, view a single page or double page spread or view it full screen. What if I don't have a paper publication to convert?
If you have a menu, a list of services, a collection of documents, a flyer, a Power Point Presentation or even a group of photos, we can custom design a digital publication for you. You can even add full motion video, video slideshow or podcast to spice up your publication. If you can dream it, we can create it! Will the links in my print publication work automatically?
In order for the links (web site addresses or email addresses) to work properly in your digital publication, your print designer must insert the links into the PDF document prior to uploading the file to us. They can be inserted in the page design software as text links or they can be drawn in Adobe Acrobat over a link in an image, such as an ad. If you need assistance on how to have live links on the pages, we can advise you or your designer on how to properly configure your PDF files. More information about PDF file requirements is available on our UPLOAD page. If you prefer for us to setup the links to your PDF files, there is a fee of $2 per page that contain web or email links.
Do I have to pay any hosting fees?
Once we create your digital publication, there is nothing more to pay. Ever. The low one time fee includes the document conversion, free lifetime hosting of your publication, the code for embedding the digital edition and tech support. You can see our price list on the pricing page.
How long does it take to receive my digital publication?
The links for your digital publication will usually be delivered to your via email within 1-3 business days after we have received the PDF files. This may be longer than other digital publishing companies, but unlike other digital publishers, our publications are created one at a time to insure individual attention to detail and outstanding quality.
Can I get help adding the digital publications to my website?
Yes! The one time fee also includes tech support to help you successfully add the digital publications to your website. If you design and maintain your own site, we will help you. If you have a web designer, we will work with them. No worries!
How long does it take to add a digital publication to my site?
As long as it takes to type the words VIEW DIGITAL EDITION or similar text and then link that type to the URL we send you. Or if you prefer you can add a thumbnail image of the brochure cover, insert the image and link the image to the the URL we send you. With either method, it should take no more than 2-3 minutes per brochure in a standard HTML page. If you wish to do more advanced page design such as creating iframes, it may require coding skills, but we are happy to assist you with this as well.
Can I add rich media such as video to my digital publication?
Absolutely! Want to really make your digital publication come alive? Then add a video, video slideshow with music or a podcast for an additional charge. The video or podcast will be embedded right in the viewer of your digital publication. See some examples on our demo page.
Can anyone view my digital publication online?
Visitors to your site don't need any special viewer software to read your digital publication. It runs on the Adobe Flash Player plugin, which is installed on 98% of the world's browsers. The digital publications run in all major browsers, including Internet Explorer and Firefox and on PC's running Windows XP and Windows Vista as well as Macs.
