Updated April 2, 2018

Does dining out at a discount sound too good to be true? Then you’re in luck. Senior discounts at restaurant chains can range from a free beverage with a meal to 20% off any menu item. Especially with an AARP membership, those discounts can start as early as age 50.

To help you save money, After55.com assembled this list of dining discounts for seniors, with sections for restaurants, coffee and breakfast, and even dessert.

Important Notes

Note that franchised restaurants are independently run, so discounts may vary. Just ask about that location’s senior discount before ordering. As one of our readers notes, senior discounts often don’t happen automatically; you might have to ask for them. So speak up!

Although this list is as up-to-date as possible, senior discounts are subject to change. Always ask about the current state of the discount to be sure. And don’t miss the rest of our senior discount guides for more savings on groceries, travel, movies and shopping.
