My Mother had to be sent to the hospital Monday due to a fall from tripping over the threshold that is loose in her apartment- now she has a broken wrist, bruised ribs, blood clots in her chest - nothing has been fixed or cleaned - needs to be cleaned, painted and new carpet. She cannot afford to live in this dangerous place. My Mother has been bullied by the last administration and all the furniture in the lobby is moved each evening and on the weekends.

My wife & I moved into The Groves in April of 2016.
We were immediately welcomed by the residents & amazed at all of the extras at this complex!
The rooms are very spacious with large living room & bedroom area, the walk in closet in our one bedroom is a big plus.
We've seen the 2 bedroom apartments, they offer much more storage space as well.
The Community Room is spacious, offering community events such as Bingo, Pot Luck meals, Card games, and holiday themed events. There is also a Library &... a community TV in this room. My wife often gets involved in the Craft sessions as well!
The Laundry Room on the 2nd floor is well equipped as well, very clean & maintained. Near the Laundry Room is yet another TV Room where residents can relax away from their rooms on comfortable couches and chairs.
There is also a Computer Room with free access to the Internet. This is one of my fave spots to surf the Web & relax!
There is a well equipped Exercise Room with modern workout machines such as a treadmill, power exercise bike, Nautilus weight benchs and assorted hand weights.
The outdoor pool is one of our fave places as there is a well sized gazebo in that area with comfortable seating & tables.
Parking is never an issue as there is ample space along the front area of the building with luggage carts available to load/unload your vehicle.
The buiding is very secure as well as the main front doors & two side exits are locked after normal business hours of 8am to 5pm and on weekends. A key fob card is provided for access into the building at all entrance doors. We sleep much better knowing strangers cannot enter our building at late hours!
Finally, the management is very courteous & attentive to the needs of the residents.
We report any problems to our office and they send their staff to fix or replace it, often the same day!
We are amazed at the low rent as this complex offers much more than the average apartment complex. Wwe were happy to know our cat is welocme here as well. Many of the residents walk their dogs often, bags & dispose containers are even provided around the building! We plan on getting a small dog in the near future.
To us, living in this 55 senior complex was the best move we made! Many of the residents have been here since it was built 11 years ago as of this review!
