About Arthur's Residential Care
Arthur's Residential Care has more than 35 years of experience in providing memory care in beautiful private home settings in Minnesota. In addition to memory care, they have experience with challenging conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Huntington’s, and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, as well as with ostomies, feeding tubes, nebulizers and supplemental oxygen.
Residents enjoy this beautiful home-like setting with only six residents per home, allowing physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs to met, along with strong resident to staff ratios. Residents have their own private care suite and private bathroom that offers a wheel chair accessible shower with emergency pull cords should something arise. Housekeeping and laundry services are also available with bed sheets and towels provided.
Each home features a beautiful living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, sun room and deck. Freshly prepared meals are served family-style three times a day in the dining room. Snacks, including fresh fruit and vegetables as well as some traditional sweets like cookies, cake or muffins, are available on request 24 hours a day. Special diet accommodations can be made such as gluten-free, low-salt, low-fat, mechanically soft, pureed, etc.
Arthur’s offers a variety of activities tailored around each resident’s interests, along with social, emotional and spiritual needs. This includes listening to music, nature, bird and wildlife watching, reading, religious activities, playing games, watching a ballgame, cooking and completing crafts in the home. Some favorite activities include outings to the conservatory, walks, dining out, picnics, movies, concerts, shopping and more.
