This is a really great place to live in Raleigh and it's affordable. The maintenance crew is efficient, the office staff are very helpful, and the apartment layout for a one bedroom, one bath was perfect for me. I never had bug issues or anything else similar to that. Plus the location is great. You're near Crabtree valley mall, and
The cheapest apartments in the area from my research. First I'll start with the positives. Maintenance, housekeeping and office staff are super friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond for the tenants. The apartment itself isn't too dated for the price (except for the window a/c units and bright pink tiled bathrooms ). Gym has
I have loved living at Sterlingglenwood. Have been a resident here since 2010. When i moved in it was like walking into an old cozy hotel lobby and i loved that. We have been remodeled into the 21st century now so the vibe is more hip and modern. Our manager, Nicole, is top notch. She listens with empathy and responds to all our man
I like a lot about living here. Great job at remodeling the inside of the building. Will be nice when the elevators all work well though and I have to add the exterior look of the building looks old with the brick and window units. I love how nice everyone is that I encounter, be it the staff or fellow residents. Beautiful kitchen in
I have lived here for 3.5 years , I love it , have many friends in the building , staff is great , Julie is my girl. Great pool area , fun group of people live here .
I have been living here 2 months..and I absolutely love it!!! They whole entire staff has been amazing. I highly recommend and will recommend to anyone..it's super clean and the pool is amazing. They management staff are super helpful as well.thank you Sterling for having me!!!
I recently moved to Sterling Glenwood Apartments, and I have never been so happy! Every morning I wake up with a smile on my face! Living here is a dream come true. It truly is a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind building, and I honestly feel like I'm living at a resort hotel! Everything is so modern and trendy, with a retro twist. There reall
My experience with Sterling Glenwood so far has been absolutely exceptional! While I have not moved in yet, I have leased an apartment, and I cannot wait to move in!! It felt like home from the moment I walked in, and my experience only got better.I came in on a Saturday to view the property with a couple of my friends, and Julie c
Sterling Glenwood is the BEST--look no further! Move here!!To be quite frank, I have never had a better experience moving into any apartment anywhere-and I've lived in many! From the very start when Ms. Amanda Aikin (Community Manager) took me on a tour of this beautiful building, I could tell that the atmosphere here was different
The staff is friendly and quick to help take care of any problems or concerns we've had, their fairly pet friendly, with a new dog park added, and lots of depots around (but people still suck and don't pick up after their dog, despite bags pretty much being provided) Neighbors are pretty quiet unless you're stuck near one with a smal
This is the first apartment that we have lived in since moving from out of state. It is a great place for the cost. The pool area is wonderful and the gym is well maintained. Staff is nice, responsive, and caring. Cons: The model set up is different than the apartment we were put in. i.e. the closet in ours is in the hallways rathe
Lived here two years and love it, new remodel is great. Lived here 20 years ago as well. Management and maintenance is superb. I've developed many friendships in the building. Great inside the beltline living at a reasonable rate.
I first lived here in 1991, loved it then and now I've lived here for two years after the remodel. The remodel is well done with amazing outdoor space. I take my barbecue to the pool area enjoy a swim and watch one of the two outdoor TV 's in front of the fireplaces while cooking hamburgers to enjoy with my friends and neighbors.
Wonderful apartment complex, caring staff and clean!

Great location for the price and lots of parking as necessary for the number of apartments in this location. The lobby has been updated and is nice and the gym is as good as it gets for an apartment complex. TVs available in the lounge area and not a place to just hang out if you want to get out of your apartment. I've lived in Ra
i came to visit a friend for a week and when i was doing laundry i noticed the hallways and floors where clean and the laundry rooms where very clean everything was who ever is the cleaning person he or she does a really good job
apartment is very nice. great location.quite, nice swimmimg pool.
Power went out but the staff did a great job of keeping us entertained and happy.
The staff was so helpful in the snow.
The team at Sterling Glenwood went all out yesterday when we lost power during the snow storm, turning our newly renovated lobby into command central for all of us to enjoy with generator-fired coffee machine, coffee and muffins in the morning, pizza for us in the evening, getting WiFi on and setting up power strips for us. I met a n
I just don't get the negative reviews. Except that these people must be cranky-pants in general. To the reviewer who says the trash chute is dirty and gross...It's a TRASH CHUTE!!!! I'm grateful I don't have to go out to the dumpster. I moved in this past August. On my first day here, I spoke to more neighbors than I did in
I live in a one bedroom apartment at Sterling Glenwood Apartments in Raleigh, NC. I moved in Feb. 1, 2015 and have had an excellent experience there. When I moved in, there were a few things that caught my eye right away. First, the living room and bedroom were huge. I have a king sized bed and there is tons of room left for my ot
The apartments are very nice just wish they had a washer and dryer inside the apartments rather than in the hall
Julie is very friendly and top notch to work with. Apartment building is being upgraded. Looks nice.
I first lived in Beckanna in 1990 it was my first apartment away from parents. I have returned and been here for six months. I disagree with the reviews I read on other sites. There were mostly regarding the previous management staff. I am pleased with the whole staff , professional , responsive and organized and that's all I can ask
I love the Beckanna, We lived at the Beckanna for over 6 months and it was probably one of the best places to live in Raleigh. It's secluded and private so no one knows it's here unless you know someone or you are really sight seeing as you drive. I like the private of the area I love you have to put a code in to get in and that the
This is actually the highrise that my dear friend lives in however I am a reequent visitor here because I love her. Highlights of the Beckanna: The Laundry is now free to use which is great becasue this is an expensive little place to live to not have washers and dryers in the units. One of the nicers pools in the area, the cabana st
Moved in recently and so far so good. Staff continues to be approachable and responsive, apartment is what was advertised and experienced during my tour, and general atmosphere is pleasant (no nasty neighbors, excessive noise, etc.). Only complaint is that the wing I toured smelled like vanilla, while the one we wound up in smells a
My boyfriend and I moved into Beckanna over the summer and initially fell in love! The staff was immediately super nice and and everyone was very inviting... but we still didn't really fit in until we got a dog! The only thing that sucks is that we dont live on the first floor and as soon as cold weather it it got to be SUCH a pain
I've been living at the Beckanna since October of 2007 and have absolutely loved it! The location is awesome and the apartments are so cute! The kitchens are awesome. I like the sixties feel of the bathrooms, which is one of the reasons why I rented here. I agree with the other reviews that there was a roof leak, and luckily my a
At first glance, this seems like a great deal, and it is, at least for people who are first moving to the area. However, the cons soon add up to what makes this only a temporary residence, not someplace to stay for any sort of long time. ********Pros******** Price (low in comparison to other places), Nice interiors (especially kitch
I just moved into the Beckanna and I am so happy with my choice. I looked at other apartments in the area and they were just too expensive for what you got or they were inexpensive, but you got what you paid for. Beckanna is a perfect compromise between money and quality. I don't mind paying a little bit more if I know I'm going to b
