This is the best run apartment complex I have ever lived in (and I have moved a LOT)! James and Kaitlynn are genuinely the best management team I've had over the many years I've moved around the US. They're kind, attentive, and quick to respond. This is also a great location! And the cleaning crew does a wonderful job. Definitely 5/5 stars!

I’ve lived here for multiple years and am very disappointed with my experience. Have only stayed because of the inconvenience of moving. Here are my issues:

- If the hot tub has been functional 25% of the time I’ve lived here, I’d be shocked. It’s constantly under repair, and they often close the entire pool area for repairs.

- The elevators are also frequently broken, and when they work they are painfully slow. They are also often dirty.

- The gym is tiny and the equipment hasn’t been... updated…ever? You’ve got two janky treadmills, two jankier stationary bikes, an elliptical and some free weights/cables.

- They clean out the garage about twice a year, and it sets off the entire building’s fire alarm EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Good luck if you have anxious pets.

- The package room is only accessible during the office’s open hours from 10am-6pm. If you work during those hours and have an important package, you’re out of luck.

- The building is impossible for Uber drivers to find. The entrance is basically hidden and the signage is terrible.

- Most of the equipment in the common room is broken. Management is too lazy to replace the pool triangle or chalk. Only one TV works, and the building has had a robbery in the past where someone stole the one good TV.

Positives: right on the greenway, near the lakes, front desk workers and custodial staff are friendly. But I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Read More

While the location is fantastic, the support staff is great, the Manager does a poor job of maintaining the building and outside area, poor job of enforcing rules such as no smoking, quiet hours and parking, including the underground lot and is not quick to respond to residence inquiries. If you are handicapped or need accommodations he is not the Manager to deal with. I am not the only one who found it difficult. I relocated from South Carolina to Minneapolis and had no clue about housing/ locations in the Twin Cities. Grace and Amy were so great about communicating with me and answering any and all questions I had about leasing from Lake Calhoun Flats. So sweet and responsive both via email and phone calls!

Management 5 stars. Maintenance 5 stars. Amenities spectacular. Apartments unique. Great price. Perfect location.
