I have lived here for 3 years, and this past year has been by far the worst. Since the new management took over, the conditions at this property have seriously declined.

Pest control is basically nonexistent. The gym is constantly filled with broken equipment. The pool is dirty and clearly not being maintained. The front gate has been left wide open for months and is never fixed, which has led to homeless individuals living in the dumpsters and walking freely throughout the property. Security... here is a complete joke. In an actual emergency, you’re better off calling 911 because no one in management will answer the phone.

On top of that, I have had multiple work orders deleted from their system. Repairs are not being scheduled, and when someone does show up, it’s completely unscheduled. Maintenance will knock once and leave immediately without giving you time to answer the door or properly announcing themselves.

I’ve had cracked paint in my shower for over two months and a broken dryer for over a month with absolutely no communication or updates. This level of neglect is unacceptable.

If you are thinking about moving here, don’t. This is the worst place I have ever lived. Management has shown they do not care about the safety, health, or basic comfort of the residents.

I have already contacted Clark County Code Enforcement and reported the property for deleting work orders, and I have also reached out to the local news. If you currently live here, please report your issues as well. The more residents who speak up, the more likely the city will take action.

The service at Tides has increased a lot recently. The new maintenance team and office staff has been working pretty hard to improve the customer service. Karina, Brandon, Wilker, and Liz have a positive attitude and are always willing to help

I cannot recommend this property.

The staff have issues with other nearby business with tenants throwing garbage over the property lines. When brought to the attention of management - they said they couldn't do anything.

Cars have been stolen at this property.
Scorpion infestations have been reported on the property.
Someone was shot and killed at this property.

Cannot recommend at all.

So My fridge broke yesterday afternoon,
I spoke with the office and they said that they’d replace it. I was given a replacement from another apartment. When I received the replacement it was dirty on the inside,(I spent almost two hours cleaning the fridge and going through all my food) there was a BUG in the vegetable drawer. The inside of the freezer door was also missing one of the railings/shelf to keep the frozen items from falling. My leasing office called me back and said they WON’T... reimburse me for the $100 I lost in food and said it was my fault for not calling it in sooner (when I called as soon as I saw the issue arise). They won’t even give me a discount on rent or do anything at all for the inconvenience. They also said they would send maintenance over to look at the fridge/freezer to replace the railing and/or give me the correct fridge since I was given the wrong kind and they haven’t came back at all and it’s been over 4 hours. Since I've received an email every day for the last month about sharing my experience HEAR YA GO.
The day I renewed my lease my apartment was broken into. My already dented and crooked door was kicked in, the place was trashed and tons of my property was stolen. The office and leasing agents have nothing in place to help. Want to move apartments? The fee will be ridiculous. Want to get out of the lease? Hope you have a small fortune ready. Like to get your door fixed? Too bad. They slapped a... peice of wood over the missing chunk of drywall and called it good. The residents are either friendly or awful. Screaming, unsupervised kids, bumping music from apartments or cars. The gates are a joke. They only keep people who live here out because the code box sucks. Homeless just walk right thru the opening and dig through trash almost every night. "Security" is a guy in a Prius that doesn't ever get out of it and shows up about an hour later.
All in all it's just as bad as these other apartments on E. Trop but they charge ALOT more. Avoid this place. Read More
