I have been here for five years now and for the most part everything has gone well.
Maintenance is readily available if needed there’s a dog park on the property and around the corner. I really have enjoyed my stay.

I planned on signing another years lease here at the Mod however I'm not so sure. I can't seem to get any maintenance work done. I'm always told by the maintenence person that I need a work order even though I've submitted a work order via phone and have gone into the office several times with my requests. The last time in went into the office she told me she forgot...really. Time is drawing near. I need a little more professionalism regarding these issues. It's borderline incompetence.

I'm being charged for renter's insurance that I already had, for which I had provided proof to the prior management here. The current management claims there is no record of that, and because I did not upload the coverage declaration to an address that I was never provided, they feel they are justified in adding this extra $50 to my rent. Basically, they are ripping me off on a technicality, as I have been covered for the whole period of the extra charges. I feel justly entitled to be reimbursed... for these extra charges, but if I'm not, I'm out of here at the earliest opportunity, which is too bad, because I generally like it here when I'm not feeling like I'm getting scammed. Completely infested with roaches. Ownership and management could care less about the roach infestation. I place roach traps out and they are full within days. If you like roaches being in everything you own, go ahead and move here.

It has always been up and down here at the mod, but the new staff that has taken over are petty vindictive and dismissive to the tenants of these apartments. They look at us as less than. This might actually be true with the tenants that have been brought in over the last 6 months as there are drug dealer and prostitutes flinging their wares openly everyday. I wrote a bad review 3 months ago and was given a letter of non renewal for my lease after almost 8 years as a tenant. I was told that that... they did not have to tell me why, but the manager could not help herself and told me that it was due to the bad review (I recorded the conversation) what of the people that cannot afford to just up and move what of them? Are they to live in fear of retribution from the management if they dare to criticize the staff and their poor performance? Any ways I am moving in less than a month but will pay my rent for the next two months just to be rid 9f them and move on to a new and better life. Read More
