This is my first apartment experience in an apartment building. I have owned houses rented houses rented condos and large duplexes and even a single apartment above a business in college . I never lived in an apartment building where you have to walk through halls to go from inside to out & visa versa. I was concerned. but This apartment living( going on my third lease) has been a good experience. The building was a hospital remodeled . The halls are generous and wide and there is no... concern of ever hearing any one else's noise . My apartment has very high ceilings and large windows in living and bedroom .(I think it's because the original blueprint construction built as a hospital ). Some original marble and woodwork still exits in hallways , lobbies, entrances . The washers /dryers are brand new Maytags this year 2020 . It is well landscaped with numerous outdoor areas to get sun, picnic or grow tomatoes or flowers or walk your dog. There is a fitness room with treadmills, elyptical machines etcs.
There are 4 other community areas , 2 can be reserved . A private owner hair salon is in the building . The in unit appliances include a full size dish washer ,stove, refrigerator . Each apartment has its own differences. Mine has hall built ins, a walk in shower . Depends on the unit. Daily and weekly cleaning and lawn care is provided.
