living here is okay . sometimes , the valet trash is missed on pick up days and the trash chutes are getting sealed , which is inconvenient .

Living at Avana Uptown has been a great experience. Aaron and Don is truly awesome—he’s professional, responsive, and always willing to help. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, Aaron made sure it was handled quickly and with a positive attitude. He really helps make Avana Uptown feel like a great place to live.

When I first moved in I lost my car to a hit and run in the parking garage, the assistant manager at the time was extremely unhelpful and honestly mean and rude. It continued when I requested the second key, that is listed in my lease, I had to reach out to the leasing company themselves and after about a month I received the key in a luxer Box. Since then that staff member no longer works here, more community events have been popping up, the staff is more friendlier and are often walking the... property to make sure things are in order and one of them makes the best cheesecakes I've tasted. I was told I would be informed of my approval within days but then had to continually call & even go back to find out. It was an extremely stressful process. The apartment I originally applied for was changed last minute. Then was treated like garbage by office staff, who seemingly had a personal vendetta against me. I was told I could view the apartment after being approved & when I showed up, I was denied, with seemingly much pleasure. Moving is so stressful & they made it so much worse, it... literally broke me. Paper thin windows, extremely loud with the highway right outside my apartment. Feels like my bed is in the middle of the highway when I lay down at night. The noise I experience from above is unbearable. Just from simple walking, from the tenant above me, my apartment rattles. Zero sound barrier, can hear my neighbors flushing the toilet and everything else you can imagine. Zero Maintenance. Have had maintenance requests ignored since March (9 months). Ancient appliances that barely work. Cheap flooring. Painted cabinets. I have had squirrels in my air vent & they refuse to fix the problem. The property is horribly maintained. Stairwells disgustingly dirty. Parking garage & hallways are the same. Pet walk covered in sand with barely any grass. Huge piles of dog poop every where & residents are not held responsible for not picking up after their pets. Mirrors in the garage are missing, causing near accidents all the time. Quiet community. Very safe. Great location. Great amenities. Staff is friendly and courteous. Very nice pool area. Wish the grills were working year-round though.
