Had a bad encounter at Solana Lakewood. Mistakenly parked in the senior visitor lot, and a resident immediately threatened to call the cops without letting me explain I was visiting a friend. Signage needs improvement to avoid confusion!!

I was looking for a place to live where I could retain my independance and I found it at Solana Lakewood. Having amenities on site is a real bonus, I've gotten a haircut, gone to church in the theatre, visited the parcel drop box every day, watched some news in the Game Room, had breakfast in the Great Room and l plan to quilt in the Craft Room. Attending a social event without having to drive or find a ride is great. If you are bored here it would be your own fault. The apartments are well... designed with lots of storage and when I ask how long people have lived here I am getting responses anywhere form 2 months to almost 5 years. A very unique place and I look forward to being one of those long timers.
